A Story for Navroze: The Sugar in the Milk

The Sugar in the Milk is an apocryphal story that tells of the arrival of the Zoroastrians in India from Iran (Persia) in the 10th century. It is a story of a persecuted people leaving their homeland to seek refuge elsewhere, and the fortunate welcome they received in India. In 2013, I presented a triptych of my Solo Shows, that I titled The Sugar in the Milk.

A Story for Navroze: The Sugar in the Milk

I created this short video on March 21, 2022, shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine.

"Navroze, Novruz, Nowrouz, Nooruz, Navruz, Nauroz, Nevruz is celebrated across Central Asia and India. With the UN declaring it as 'The Festival of Spring', it is growing in its reach to be recognized as a start of a New Year and symbolically, a new life."
