Solo Shows

I began creating solo shows around 2000, as a way of examining subjects that were close to my heart; my Parsi background, being an immigrant to the US, and being a theater artist. In 2013, I presented a trilogy of thematically related solo shows that I had created over a decade. I titled the triptych, The Sugar in the Milk, after an apocryphal story about the arrival of Parsis in India in the 10th century, and presented all three plays in my own theater, Dreamland Arts. From 2005-2018, I helped many artists (including actors, musicians, and puppeteers) develop their projects into solo works for the stage. You can see a full list of the artists I worked with here: Other Solo Shows.
